Emily Loses Her First Tooth

Emily has noticed a wiggly tooth on the bottom in the front. Lately, she had been talking about many of her classmates losing teeth and we thought she might be working on a tooth so she would be like her classmates. But sure enough, there is a loose tooth! Here, Ian checks it out.

The blood proves it: that tooth is coming out!

A quick pull and it ‘slides’ right out. By ‘slides’, I mean it hung on and hurt badly! As it turns out, there was one side of the tooth that spiked down and didn’t want to let go. Ouch!

A quick rinse with some warm salt water and all is well. Now she can’t keep her tongue out of the gap!

The next morning, Emily had a $5 bill in her tooth pillow!
