We are steadily eating our watermelons. Janet makes watermelon balls out of them for easy consumption.
Our peanuts are long gone, but their memory lives on! It was the best batch we have made in a long time..

Janets parents planted a field of watermelons, and were gracious enough to give us 10!
At the same time, a local 24hour discount store that we go to every day had some fresh green peanuts (goobers!). We got 10 pounds! Mmmmmm.. Old timey…
On a daily trip to Wal-Mart, our kids were in total shock to find the toy section empty! NNNOOOOooooo!!! (they were re-stocking)
Outside, we were pleasantly surprised to find a great sunset (my camera phone doesn’t do it justice).
We were surprised one day when Ian came in holding a dead rat! When I told him it was dead, he shook it enough to make the head move and said “No its not, see?” A toss over the fence and thorough hand washing followed.
